In addition to our grass fed beef and lamb, we also raise grass fed goat! Grass fed goat is higher in omega-3s, Vitamin E and CLAs as well as lower in fat and calories than grain fed goats.
Our meat goats think they are part of the sheep flock and follow the sheep to new pastures every day. They are quite a bit more squirrely than the sheep providing for rich entertainment every morning at moving time.

We are now taking reservations for Fall 2019 goat. If you are interested in chevon or other meats, please fill out the following form and we will get in touch with you regarding our availability. *Deposit for goat meat are: $50 for 1/2 goat and $100 for a whole goat.
Our goat is available in whole or half orders. We charge $8/pound hanging weight. Because of our commitment to humane practices and quality meat, all of the slaughter is done professionally on our farm and is $90 per whole animal split accordingly. The carcass is then taken to a butcher of your choice where you select the cuts, seasonings and cures that are just right for your family. Use the form on the left to reserve your portion of grass fed goat for your family.
There are three costs involved when purchasing meat from our farm. 1) The cost of the meat itself paid to the farm. 2) The cost of the on farm slaughter ($90 per whole goat split accordingly). 3) The cost of the custom cut and wrap paid to the butcher shop. For goat, it is a flat fee of $90 per whole lamb split accordingly. Below is an cost breakdown example of a whole goat.
Whole goat weighing 35 lbs. hanging weight = $280 + $90 slaughter fee + $80 for cut and wrap. Grand total = $450
85% of hanging weight received as table cuts = 29.75 lbs = $15.12 per pound of table cuts.
It is important to remember that the price for your table cuts applies to ALL of your cuts so you are getting your prime cuts for the same price as your ground meat.
