Chores are often a family affair.  Libby finally weighs enough to keep the tractor running while she sits in the seat and drives it whenever she can.  Bryan is a great driving teacher and very patient.  He took it like a champ when Libby had to admit to him that while turning the tractor around to head back out to the field, she hit the back of the van and accidentally picked it up off the ground with the bucket.  She put a sizable dent/scrape/tear in the bumper we just had replaced from getting rear ended.  Maybe it is his childhood on a farm, his job in EMS, or just his laid back personality but he knows that it is just a bumper. The time we spend together as a family teaching each other, learning and making mistakes matters much more than the aesthetics of a mini van.
